Electrical Design Engineer
In this role you will enter on ground zero of a new engineering project in the energy sector. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the electrical project, from design and testing to prototyping and implementation. Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, including generators, converters, control systems and power electronics
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall product design
- Conduct electrical testing, simulations, and analysis to optimize the performance and reliability of the product
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of electrical designs, schematics, and testing procedures
- Lead prototype development and testing phases, identifying and addressing any electrical issues
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to source electrical components and technologies
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Experience in electrical design and engineering
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, power electronics and PCB design
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools
- Hands-on experience with prototype development and testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion
